In Canton, a woman from Hermon has been taken into custody by the local police on charges related to narcotics. On Thursday, 42-year-old Bridgett Murdock of Northwoods Road found herself under arrest due to an outstanding bench warrant issued by St. Lawrence County. The arrest took place in the village of Canton, where authorities discovered Murdock in possession of around 60 grams of methamphetamine while she was being detained.
